And Olivier Rousteing proved himself yet again as the head designer of the iconic Parisien house! Still implementing the rock/glam chic look, he chose to give this collection a softer edge. There were also a lot of diamond and striped prints with floral accentuations. Pastel shades were added to gold embellishments and sheer fabrics.
He used South Beach (Miami) colors like mint, yellow and peach. There are almost couture elements visible in the collection, like the handcrafted embellishment of the collection and other details. "Fun, happiness, and hope" were the pointers of the collection, said Rousteing. And in my opinion, he nailed all three of them!
Definitely a winner resort collection for me!
