Herve Leger just keeps on reinventing their skin-tight strategically cut-out bandage dresses. This time every look that came down the runway was accessorized with a sort of strappy, buckled leather harness. Harnesses at the hip, waist and bust were attached to each piece coming down the runway. They added an extra touch of 'edgy' to the line's bandage dresses, which, this season, came patterned in geometric panels, emblazoned with crystals, or spliced with intricate prints. Fringed skirts, long sleeves and even some skinny trousers also found their way onto the catwalk this season at Leger. I thought the attention to detail was pretty extraordinary: especially the strategically placed cut-outs to highlight the décolletage. The models gained even more strength when they all came out in sleek ponytails and gladiator-like knee-high boots. Still holding on to their iconic features, it still represented a a tough new direction of strength and empowerment of women.
