*Fashion: The Home of Coco Rocha

In the new feature of Vogue, “APT with LSD,” Lauren Santo Domingo gets an inside look at the homes and apartments of some of Vogue’s favorite people—from models to designers, actors, stylists, artists, and more.
Model Coco Rocha was the first to open her home to the magazine to give a sneak peek at her decorative apartment and its memorable features.
After she was discovered at an Irish dancing competition, Coco's star rose quickly, which Vogue confirmed when it named her one of the top models of 2007. She’s a favorite of photographer Steven Meisel and has been the face for Balenciaga.
While preview spreads of her apartment have displayed her stunning terrace and decorative mirrors, the Vogue cameras captured her enviable makeup wardrobe, a limited look at her custom designed closet, a piggy bank that looks like a YSL bag, a DIY project that originated from a street find, and details about Steven Meisel’s wedding present for Coco - a picture of the model, by the artist. It´s not particulary the most amazing interior design i've seen, but it's the perfect balance of Chic vs Cheap that intrigues me.

This season, the signature psychedelic Pucci print is reworked for some equally fabulous prints. Every look Dundas sent down the runway was unabashedly sexy with a luxe bohemian touch. "Bohemian beachcomber done luxe" is how the designer rather aptly described it beforehand. Allthough it was still a fierce collection but the strong colours of the previous seasons have definitely made place for a muted palette and watercolor-inspired prints. Skinny pants embellished with mirrored discs, a plissé tie-dyed T-shirt, a Pucci printed bikini, and jackets done in whip-stitched suede.
Basically, he didn’t miss a trick. It all could be purchased for any glamorous wardrobe.
This collection had me dreaming off my second hometown in the South of Spain, the sand and sea, wishing for sun bronzed skin and waiting for this inevitable fall and winter to pass.

I'm always excited to see a new Atelier Versace Collection. Even if it's not always to your taste, the clothes are always dramatically beautiful and exquisitely rendered. The Italian fashion house has finally revealed its look book for all to lust over.
If the sheer quality of the pieces isn't enough to catch your eye, then the take on new season trends, including the signature thigh-high slit dresses and an awesome take on gladiator cutout boots. We speak more of a power girl now, rather than a Dolled Up Alice in Wonderland Girl we had in Spring. Trademarks like pleats, crystals and asymmetrical cuts are still the latest outing from Atelier Versace, but this Fall it offers a lesson in elegance and glamour. Showing us the pieces of Atelier Versace’s Fall line is Monika Jagaciak, as simple and stunning as the collection itself.
Wouldn’t you want to spin those dresses around a bit?
Donatella send me a dress (or 4) pretty please!

´´Rigor with sensuality",
That was her focus for Spring. And the focus was absolute: A handful of elements combined to create a statement that was limited but strong. The models' hair cued a new strictness. (they all had a topknot). Red and turquoise boxy jackets and matching thigh-split skirts provided more wearable shades.Trousers are always out of the question in a Spring Versace show, but ¾ is being the new length for this season. This gives the dresses a more sophisticated look.As Donatella pointed out, the longer skirt could be paired with a midriff-baring tank or a top scissored into an asymmetric racerback. With an eye for detail, the cutouts were carried over to the footwear. This effort seemed definitely to be about focus and colorful restraint, instead of the the celebrity-driven front row mania of the brand’s past legendary outings.
