My favourite show of this Fall is definitely Balmain, that's why I kept the best for the last. Christophe Decarnin's Fall collection for Balmain almost seemed like a continuation of the spring collection, which was very rock n' roll and had some of the same similar statement silhouettes.
The sexy excess of the 80's continued this Fall in an abundance of crystals, sequins, studs and obviously: shoulder pads XL. The collection is designed in shades of black and white, accented by four pieces of violent electric blue, and completed by uniform suede, silver-buckled boots. Christophe Decarnin knows how to put on a show and boy did he deliver!
